Yager Bar is a trendy, affordable and conveniently located London venue, perfect for a post-work drink with colleagues or a Saturday afteoon, watching sport with friends on one of the many plasma screens, or a night of partying in style.
Just a couple of minute’s walk from St. Paul’s Cathedral and in the very heart of London’s famous Square Mile, you’d expect any bar, club or pub to be astoundingly expensive in this area. This isn’t the case at all with Yager Bar – with a pitcher of (strong) cocktails serving 6 people coming in at around £15, and 10 test tube shots costing just £20. You can eat a generous portion of good quality pub grub for under £10, and the sharing platters are both varied and incredibly good value.
The atmosphere here is very much cosmopolitan, with stylish booths boasting leather chairs and free standing tables dotted around with plenty of space between them. From Monday to Friday, 5pm to 8pm, you can enjoy 50% off the drinks menu, and 2-for-1 cocktails – making this an ideal place for a night out in the week running up to payday!
The venue is set over two floors. The ground floor has a contemporary, hip pub feel to it, whereas the second floor transforms into a nightclub once the sun goes down – with an ample dancefloor and a diverse soundtrack of 70s, 80s and 90s classics, mixed with all the chart-topping hits of the day. Yager Bar also has a sizeable heated outdoor space, which is enclosed and private so you can take your drinks outside. Such a large outdoor space is a rare feature in a central location, and certainly contributes to your party’s overall enjoyment of the evening. The venue is air conditioned, but with such tempting sounds from the resident DJ, you’re sure to work up a sweat and the fresh air is invaluable. The dress code is casual and trainers are welcome, but if you did want to dress up, you certainly wouldn’t look out of place in what is essentially a very smart venue!
