Beautiful Wedding Venues Abroad

,

Casa Angelica, Amalfi Coast, Italy

This really is a spectacular place to have a wedding.  The rooftop restaurant (cap. 80 people) provides beautiful views over the Amalfi Coast, and the venue are flexible in terms catering and drinks – you can choose from a sit down meal of rustic Italian food, a barbeque on the terrace, or a hearty brunch for everyone to enjoy.  Naturally, you’re pretty much guaranteed good weather in season in this rugged and authentic part of Italy, and your photographs are sure to be stunning against the scenic ocean backdrop.  The nearby town also has much to offer, with a lively range of bars, restaurants and nightclubs, and also some very pretty beaches – so if you’re bringing your wedding party over for a few days, there is plenty of diverse and goo quality entertainment on offer here.  Your wedding night will be the stuff of dreams – with strawberries, Proseccco, and a hot candlelit bath in your room all provided for you at the end of your big day.

Villa San Paulo, Lisbon, Portugal

If you’re looking for an altogether more private affair, you could hire this breathtaking villa exclusively for your wedding.  Able to accommodate 36 guests and with all the necessary facilities to prepare food etc. for larger parties, this venue is not only very beautiful, but very practical as well, with 400 sq. ft. of space for you to play with.  You will have a private stairway to the famous Azarujinha and Tamariz Estoril beaches, and the master suite gives far reaching ocean views.  There is also a large roof terrace for drinks receptions with a small swimming pool, and small touches such as bed linen and towels being provided makes this a straightforward yet stunning venue for a wedding.

Borgo San Felipe, Siena, Italy.

While you won’t get the coastal views or fresh sea breeze here in Siena, you will have the grand backdrop of the Italian hills and flora that so encapsulates this part of the world.  If you would like a church wedding, then you have the option to have your ceremony on the quaint and peaceful 8th century Romanic church.  If you’d prefer a civil ceremony, you can carry this out in the equally beautiful but completely different 18th century Cappella della Maddalena.  The restaurant in this historic and unusual venue can hold 100 people, and trips out to Florence and the other close by towns are easily arranged.  There are also beautiful gardens and a swimming pool for those all-important stolen moments of relaxation, and lots of options for stunning photography.
