The facility for corporate events at The Park Plaza Riverbank is purpose-built, and ideally suited to conferences, seminars and business meetings.  Spread over four separate floors, the centre includes cloakrooms, spacious foyers, breakout rooms, a private entrance and separate lift able to carry heavy goods to all floors.

The Thames Suite is the most impressive and contemporary suite available here. It offers beautiful views of the river and Parliament, and can host events of up to 310 delegates in theatre style, or 160 in cabaret style.  There’s a large glass roof to let in plenty of natural light and a view of the night sky after dark, a ready-made staging area in front of a large window, and a built in sound & lighting system.  You can hit the ground running in this suite – it’s simply a case of laying out out some chairs and plugging in. 

The Ballroom is a contemporary and open space with carpet throughout and several access doors leading to additional breakout rooms.  A highly sophisticated lighting system and clever hidden audio technologies guarantee a clean cut presentation, and the room can seat a total of 650 delegates in theatre style.  Using partition walls, this space can be broken down into separate functions rooms for up to 300 delegates each.

Beneath the Ballroom, The Plaza Suite can be configured into a number of room set ups from 40 to 550 delegates and provides an ideal place to take refreshment, or use as additional space when hiring The Ballroom. 

Altogether, you have a choice of 21 contemporary and stylish breakout rooms ranging in size to choose from.  All of the syndicate rooms have large foyer areas designed to be big enough for registration, and then to be transformed into makeshift cafés while you gear up to lunch.  All of the 21 rooms are easily accessible from the conferencing suites, and it’s simply a case of choosing which one you’d prefer to use for your event.  Function Fixers are familiar with the layout, and we’re happy to advise you on which space might suit you best.

Coffee breaks, breakfasts, working lunches, finger food, buffets and seated menus are all available here, and the choice of foods on offer is fantastic.  Anything from French onion soup to a chocolate fountain and strawberries is available here, and as this venue regularly hosts weddings as well, they have experience in creating more specialised and elegant food. 

24 hour conferences are well taken care of, and the hotel rooms at the Plaza are simply stunning.  Highly affordable and starting at around £120 per night, you’ll get a view over London and carefully thought out facilities for business travellers.  A large desk, adaptable power points, an ironing board and complimentary high-speed WiFi are just some of the useful touches in all of the rooms here, but overall, they are chic, practical and comfortable.  Parking is also available when requested in advance.
