Manchester Museum
Oxford Road, Manchester, M13 9PL
Manchester Museum uses its collection of over 4.5 million items from across the globe to tell the compelling story of all living things. The museum prides itself on offering an engaging, inclusive environment where everyone feels they belong.
Located on Oxford Road in the heart of Manchester’s cultural institutions and academic landmarks, the museum is a beautiful 19th century neo-gothic building boasting excellent public transport links.
There are several spaces available for hire at the Manchester Museum, both in the daytime and evening, with a range of capacities from 10 to 200 people.
For evening hires, you can hire the recently refurbished Main Hall for reception drinks before making your way through to the breathtaking Living Worlds and Fossils & Dinosaurs Gallery, where guests can enjoy the company of Stan, our famous Tyrannosaurus Rex.
For daytime hires, the flexible Kanaris Lecture Theatre is available to meet every conference need and the Conference Room is perfect for away day meetings or a breakout space.
All of the income generated from venue hire goes directly back into the museum, ensuring it remains free to enter for all.
