The British Library
The British Library offers unique and flexible meeting and event spaces which can accommodate from 4 – 255 people.
The Knowledge Centre, has its own private entrance off the main Piazza and has a 255 seater auditorium with state-of-the-art AV and presentation facilities. It also offers five meeting rooms each with natural daylight, black out blinds, sound proofing and the latest audio-visual along with our on-site AV team. The whole centre can be exclusively booked making it an ideal location for large conferences with break out spaces or each room can be individually hired to suit meetings, presentations and product launches from 25 to 60 guests.
Within the Library is the Terrace Restaurant, with its floor to ceiling windows it is the perfect space for larger dinners, celebrations, and receptions for up to 200 guests. The outdoor, rooftop terrace is an unexpected bonus for events in the summer months.
Our King’s Library Gallery offers another stunning venue for receptions and dinners, with the King’s Library Tower as a backdrop, this space is at the heart of the library and can host up to 80 guests for dinner and 150 guests for a reception.
The fourth floor Boardroom Suite is ideal for more formal high level functions and is perfect for executive or corporate meetings as well as private lunches and dinners with a private foyer for receptions and catering. The adjacent meeting rooms are perfect for smaller business meetings and lunches.
