Sir Giles Gilbert Scott’s iconic London landmark hasn’t produced so much as a kilowatt of power since 1983 & after years of neglect is now one of the capital’s most in-demand event venues. As well as the seven acres of hard standing, which is ideal for concerts, large sporting events, festivals such as Freeze & Red Bull X-Fighters, there are two covered venues. The Boiler House sits inside the building, with a clear gable-end roof section offering dramatic views up to the chimneys. It’s perfect for launches, balls & fashion shows, with space for 700 sitting down or 1,000 standing. There’s also The View, outside the main building, which can accommodate 150 sitting or 375 standing.
