Renowned architect William Bruce Gingell is behind the remarkable design of the former Lloyds Bank building, inspired by Sansovino’s 16th century Venetian Library.

The Sansovino Hall is Bristol Harbour Hotel’s most impressive events space. As the grand former banking hall for the Lloyds bank built in 1852, this grand room has a magnificent skylight and an opulent detailed ceiling, which provides a spectacular backdrop for any event. With seating for up to 300 guests or 400 for drink receptions and able to be sectioned for breakout areas, the Sansovino is ideal for any corporate event, including  awards ceremonies, dinners, exhibitions, conferences, networking functions, Christmas parties  or celebration events.

The Terrace on Corn Street is ideal for alfresco drinks receptions and BBQ’s to bring some of the outdoors to your event.

The Vault is a beautiful space in the original banking vaults of the hotel. With stunning marble and iridescent wallpaper and lights on independent dimmers, it provides a unique back-drop for events, including conferences, private lunch and dinners from 10 to 60 guests or drinks receptions of up to 80. The Room can be divided to create two spaces and has a state of the art Sonos sound system and air conditioning.

Originally the Bank Managers office on the ground floor, The Blue Room is perfect for conference and private dining events for up to 16 delegates seated and 20 guests for drinks receptions.  The Blue Room boasts lots of natural daylight, contemporary design and character.

The Treasury is set in a spectacular atrium on the first floor and with a feeling of pure luxury and privacy, it is ideal for intimate events and smaller conferences of up to 12 guest seated and 16 guests for drinks receptions.

Additional informal breakout spaces can be arranged in our Gold Bar.

I need to find a venue large enough to host a group for Easter Retreat. We was beginning to worry that we would not be able to host it in England which would have meant taking it to America or Canada. However we where saved by the Bell by Heather from function fixers, she was the groups shining armer in this case. Heather was able to come up with three or four options that was large enough to host the group also flexible to the groups need. Heather was able to do all the stressful part of negotiations with the venues right to the end and all our group did was to agree with the venue on the date the booking payment was needed We are extremely grateful for all that Heather did for us and would recommend Heather to anyone looking for a venue for any occasion so leaving yourselves stress free to enjoy your day. I've been working with Carrie for the past 2-3 months to finalise a venue for a 250pax conference we are hosting next year.
