Cigalon brings Provencal cuisine to London.
The restaurant, named after the 1935 Marcel Pagnol film, is housed in a magnificent former auction house on Chancery Lane. Its green house glass-ceiling, double height dining room, reed fences and singing cicada, transport you effortlessly to Cannes or St Tropez without the excess baggage.
With secluded booths and cosy banquettes it is the perfect venue for business lunches and romantic dinners.
If you are looking for something calmer, look no further and book our private dining room which seats 8 guests.
Additional Notes:
Cigalon meat and fish specials are simply but expertly cooked on the grill by the chefs who silently operate the open kitchen area at the back of the dining room. It might include Rack of Lamb, Rib of Beef, Pieds et Paquets (lamb tripe & trotter stew), whole Sea Bass and more seasonal delights which change daily.
The A la Carte menu offers classic Provençal cuisine composed of dishes such as Salade Niçoise, Cassolette of Snails & Anchovies, Line-caught Cod and Aioli as well as Baked Aubergine with Goat cheese & Aromatic Herbs..
Any sweet tooth will enjoy the Caramelized Quince with Pink Cider Granita, Warm Black Chocolate & Nuciola Tart…
Your meal would not be complete without our Goats & Ewe Cheese Selection accompanied by a Violet Jelly.
