Kensington Place
Kensington Place first opened its doors more than 25 years ago in 1987 and has since established itself as the first modern British brasserie in London.
Over the years, Kensington Place has continued to go from strength to strength and is now a destination restaurant for those seeking a relaxed and casual dining experience whilst enjoying the best British fish and seafood there is.
Our bright and airy interior, redesigned by Polly Dickens, captures the fresh, vibrant and charming atmosphere of this West London stalwart.
When visiting the bar at Kensington Place expect to find it brimming with passion and creativity – our mixologist is constantly experimenting to create fun and inventive new drinks.
The Room, at Kensington Place, is a versatile space which can be hired for lunch or dinner and is one of the very few purpose-built private rooms in London. The Room, like the restaurant, has a bright and airy feel with a high vaulted ceiling, in the centre of which sits a generous skylight. The private dining room is perfect for any occasion, with flexible table arrangements providing the best layout suited to your event and number of guests. The Room is completely self-contained so you can enjoy an entirely private, tailor-made event. It can be hired during the day which makes it an ideal venue for any off-site meeting. We can provide tea, coffee, pastries and biscuits for breaks and, of course, a fabulous Kensington Place lunch.
If your celebration is on a larger scale, such as a wedding reception, engagement party, anniversary or christening you can hire The Restaurant on an exclusive basis. Whether you would like a drinks reception with canapés (up to 220 guests standing) or sit-down meal (up to 110 guests), our brigade of chefs can cater to your needs, while our dedicated events manager will be on hand throughout the process to ensure that all runs smoothly.
