The Old Royal Naval College is the jewel of Greenwich and an inspiring setting for professional events and stunning celebrations. The Old Royal Naval College offers a beautiful setting and a strong sense of tradition and history.

There are three main hire options available, taking advantage of the Painted Hall, the Queen Mary and/or King William Undercroft, or the Admiral’s House.

The awe inspiring Painted Hall is available for evening hire and particularly suited to large gala dinners, awards dinners and drinks receptions.

The Admiral’s House is available for both the serious and the fun side of business, an excellent venue for high profile receptions and dinners or meetings, seminars, and conferences. Here light and airy rooms benefit from natural daylight, double height ceilings, refined wooden paneling, and windows offering inspiring river views. Unlike much of the Old Royal Naval College, the Admiral’s House is not open to the public, so it can be yours exclusively for the day. Rooms can be booked on an individual basis or you can choose to hire the whole house for your exclusive use. From a meeting for 18 to a seminar for 90, the house can host exceptional professional events. You can enjoy free use of the house to really make the most of a smaller scale conference or an away day, taking advantage of the ample break out space available and, in fine weather, the outdoor surroundings.

Though situated within the same building as the Painted Hall, the twin Undercrofts are available on a more flexible basis and can be hired exclusively for both evening and daytime events, making them ideal for all manner of professional or corporate events and gatherings. Each offers plenty of natural daylight and inspiring surroundings for your guests.

No matter the size of your wedding, Wren’s baroque wonder will delight your guests and leave you with memories to treasure for a lifetime. If you choose to marry at the Old Royal Naval College, you will have your own dedicated wedding coordinator to assist you from your initial enquiry, right through to the big day itself. Your coordinator will be there to advise you, arrange your site visit, join you at your menu tasting and run you through all the details. You will also be assigned an Event Manager, who will meet you a month before your wedding and ensure everything is covered and you can just relax and enjoy the anticipation.
