Shoreditch Town Hall is a Grade II listed building and a flagship cultural, live events and community venue, offering eight different spaces for hire. Over recent years the Town Hall has successfully hosted a wide range of events including film shoots for Channel 4 and ITV, gala dinners for Cartier and Deliveroo, Immersive events, product launches for the likes of FIFA, festival events including Digital Shoreditch and Shoreditch Live, as well as seasonal parties and exhibitions.
Additional Notes:
Shoreditch Town Hall works with some of the UK’s leading organisations to host a broad range of events throughout the year. Our impressive list of blue-chip clients, and market leading organisations sit easily alongside the dozens of couples who choose to hold their special day in one of our stunning wedding venues. Providing events for up to 500 people, the diverse spaces at the Town Hall, operating largely on a dry hire basis, are flexible enough to accommodate productions of all scales.
Comprising 8 principal spaces, but with over 60 individual rooms across 48,000 sq. ft. from the Victorian grandeur of the Assembly Hall to the warren of untouched basement spaces, The Ditch, Shoreditch Town Hall is home to a busy year round programme – a unique destination space for a range of events and live performance, from contemporary theatre and dance, to corporate dinners and weddings, film shoots to exhibitions.
“Wow” is the word most often used upon first walking into the Assembly Hall. Located on the first floor of Shoreditch Town Hall, the Assembly Hall is the ideal location for corporate dinners, product launches, large wedding parties, talks and more. Indeed whatever your event requirement, the Assembly Hall offers a flexible space which is packed full of character.
The high ceilings, Italian marble panelled walls, Matcham style balcony and glorious architectural features fill this room with character, representing the ‘faded glory’ of this magnificent building.
The Ditch is the warren of untouched basement rooms underneath the original building. These varied interconnecting rooms with individual names such as the Servants Parlour and Old Document Store, original features, exposed brickwork and pipes, fireplaces and stoves provide a unique and intimate setting for events.
Despite the abandoned aesthetic of the spaces, The Ditch has full production capabilities and remains as flexible and responsive as the rest of the building. It can be transformed to create an immersive setting for memorable product launches, creative fundraising events, unique receptions, conference breakout spaces and even dining.
