A large double sided fireplace gives a welcoming atmosphere, while the new layout allows guests to enjoy a pint and a snack either at the Bar or in the Snug. The Sofa room provides large comfy seating to sink into and enjoy a hot Sunday roast and there are boules and beanbags aplenty. A more formal meal can be enjoyed in the large Vaulted Room or in the effectively lit Dining Room, either of which can be hired for private lunches, dinners, weddings or birthdays parties. Â

Watch out for the darts board on Sunday nights, and when the summer months come you’ll discover the Swan’s true vocation as the pub BBQ sparks up and the summer cocktails start to flow. The garden is a real treat!

      Function Fixers is my go to team for support with venue finding. All those of us that work in event organisation know how agile and quick footed you have to be to organise them effectively, as people, agenda, budgets, dates change so easily. This did not phase Theresa one bit...we sent email after email back and forth as my venue brief changed regularly, as did finding the right date. Theresa dealt with it with a level of patience I wish I had! And email conversations were always full of detail and fun.

Theresa responded so quickly to my emails, always remaining positive that a venue would fit our needs and she was right. The handover to the venue was done promptly and we are in full swing of event organisation.
