The Bridgewater Hall is an international concert venue that is available for hire for a wide range of events.

Auditorium

At the heart of the Bridgewater Hall lies the breath-taking Auditorium. Despite its size, the four-level tiered seating was designed in a way which brings everybody close together to create an intimate and comfortable space. Accommodating up to 1800 guests, the setting has hosted a variety of incredible events such as large-scale conferences, AGMs, graduations, charity events, plus incredible performances by distinguished ensembles such as the BBC Philharmonic and much more. The Auditorium can be hired as part of an exclusive Whole Facility rental, which includes all of our Front of House foyer spaces and smaller function rooms, as well as Back of House en-suite changing rooms, warm up rooms, and crew rooms.

Barbirolli Room

Impressive high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, excellent acoustics and modern bright décor combine to make this room a popular choice for all types of events up to 250. The layout is very flexible to compliment a range of different events, with a movable partition wall that can be put in place for smaller numbers. The Barbirolli Room can be hired as a package, which includes extensive use of our high quality technical facilities and professional technical assistance. To maximise the attendee experience, adjacent foyer spaces can be utilised in conjunction with the Barbirolli Room, serving as an easily accessible breakout area for registration, catering and networking.

Two smaller meeting rooms, the Charles Halle and the Green Room can accommodate up to 40 and 50 respectively, theatre style.

Circle Foyer

The Circle Foyer is a versatile space, offering endless event related opportunities. This bright, glass-fronted foyer has views across the city, and is a beautiful backdrop for receptions, dinners, exhibitions and networking events. With impressive views, it provides the perfect location for photography and filming.

Used in conjunction with the Barbirolli room, it provides a spacious registration and catering area adjacent to the main conference, and can also be used for workshops and breakout sessions.

Choir Circle Foyer

Located below the Circle foyer, Choir Circle is a more intimate foyer space which can be used alongside the Barbirolli room as a registration, catering, or exhibition for up to 80 delegates.

I need to find a venue large enough to host a group for Easter Retreat. We was beginning to worry that we would not be able to host it in England which would have meant taking it to America or Canada. However we where saved by the Bell by Heather from function fixers, she was the groups shining armer in this case. Heather was able to come up with three or four options that was large enough to host the group also flexible to the groups need. Heather was able to do all the stressful part of negotiations with the venues right to the end and all our group did was to agree with the venue on the date the booking payment was needed We are extremely grateful for all that Heather did for us and would recommend Heather to anyone looking for a venue for any occasion so leaving yourselves stress free to enjoy your day. I've been working with Carrie for the past 2-3 months to finalise a venue for a 250pax conference we are hosting next year.
