The Drury Club
London, (WC2B 5PG)
Combining the feel of a New York speakeasy with turn of the century Parisian haunts, the emphasis at this London nightclub is ‘Theatre of Service’. Well, theatre of service aside, the decor fuses these two aesthetics perfectly with antler chandeliers cascading from the ceiling, neon ‘rock n roll’ and ‘GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS’ lights glowing throughout the rooms, exposed brickwork for walls and stripped back wood for bars, silver vintage trunks for tables and long red leather banquet seats.
However, it wouldn’t be a proper London nightclub if the drinks weren’t seriously considered and, thanks to the help of Sweet & Chilli, they are. Expect a wide and delicious selection of house cocktails and, wait for it, an Absinthe fountain. Hangovers at the ready.
Only open Friday and Saturday as a club, but this is the perfect event space every other day of the week for those events that need an injection of colour and spice and all things nice.
