The International Centre, Telford is a stand out venue, centrally located in the heart of the Midlands and with a modern, unbranded interior – it really is the ideal home for large events.

Part of the Southwater Event Group, the venue comprises of an on-site production company and two hotels, with a further hotel within walking distance. Family owned and with an unrivalled attention to detail, our focus is firmly on our clients and achieving exceptional service for every event.

All of this is set amongst one of the most industrious and yet stunning destinations, Shropshire – the birthplace of evolutionist Charles Darwin, the Industrial Revolution, and the home of the UNESCO world heritage site of Ironbridge Gorge.

Ambitious to constantly flex and grow to meet and exceed the aims of modern day event organisers, we are creating an event campus at the heart of Telford. With an investment of £250 million, the pedestrianised Convention Quarter comprises a new hotel, bars, leisure, restaurants and retail, alongside an urban lake which connects seamlessly to the existing Telford Shopping Centre and one of the largest town parks in the UK.

I need to find a venue large enough to host a group for Easter Retreat. We was beginning to worry that we would not be able to host it in  England which would have meant taking it to America or Canada. However we where saved by the Bell by Heather from function fixers, she was the groups shining armer in this case. Heather was able to come up with three or four options that was large enough to host the group also flexible to the groups need. Heather was able to do all the stressful part of negotiations with the venues right to the end and all our group did was to agree with the venue on the date the booking payment was needed We are extremely grateful for all that Heather did for us and would recommend Heather to anyone looking for a venue for any occasion so leaving yourselves stress free to enjoy your day. She was exceptional in putting forward appropriate suggestions and even better at managing our changing requests and circumstances.  Nothing was too much trouble.
