Tompkins
Set within the ground breaking Pan Peninsula development in Canary Wharf, and based on the great steak houses and brasseries of New York City, Tompkins is an über-stylish restaurant and bar that provides a home from home for residents, and a stunning destination venue for visitors. It also boasts a spectacular outside terrace, one of the largest waterside dining and drinking spaces in East London.
Design elements are both eclectic and dramatic, incorporating an eight metre-long, bronze-fronted bar,bespoke Tom Dixon chandeliers and a Foscarini cloud mural. The floor throughout is made from small blocks of solid Argentinean eucalyptus wood, whilst the furniture is a mix of styles and periods, from 1950’s leather sofas to glossy black lacquer tables.
Tompkins uses only seasonal ingredients, sourced wherever possible from local suppliers. Despite its home from home feel, Tompkins can comfortably accommodate up to 400 guests, making it ideal for all types of private and corporate events. Making any gathering even more special, the spacious waterside terrace that allows for 150 additional covers.
