Here, in the still, clear air, Turnberry has come to be known as a centre for health and relaxation since it debuted one of Europe’s first spas nearly 30 years ago. The 800-acre estate offers a range of superb venues, including the hotel, the clubhouse, the Colin Montgomerie Links Golf Academy and an exceptional group of lodges. Fourteen flexible locales, many benefitting from natural daylight, are available for weddings, anniversaries, small conferences and workshops, or to celebrate any personal or corporate milestone. Our premier room, The Caledonia, is an impressive space capable of hosting up to 300 guests. More intimate affairs can be accommodated in equal style; for example, The Mackenzie Ross looks out onto the final green of spectacular Ailsa, offering guests a view that is both scenic and inspirational. Dining and drinking are central to the true Turnberry experience. Here, partake of forgotten classics, hearty local fare and modern delights. Sample locally distilled highland and lowland whiskys, including a recipe named in Turnberry’s honour. Our cellars hold wines and whiskys—malt and grain, single and blended—as various as you can imagine. Spectacular cuisine or casual provisions, elegant dining or a relaxed 19th-hole atmosphere can all be found in this celebrated place.
