We deal mostly with busy EAs and PAs who are looking for a trustworthy professional partner to save them time, money and stress. We will acknowledge any client brief within the hour and have venue suggestions by the end of the day.

We make no charge for our highly professional service. As an accredited agency, we receive a standard agency commission from the venues themselves. Most venues have a marketing budget to attract additional business, so the cost of the commission is not passed on to clients.

We offer a bespoke service, working intensively on a one-to-one basis with each client to see every enquiry through to fruition. Do you have a minimum job size requirement?

No, not at all. At Function Fixers, we are happy to deal with any and all enquiries for venue sourcing – there is no such thing as a job that’s too big or too small. Whether you’re looking for a special private dining venue for two (perhaps to pop the question?), a unique executive board room for key meetings, a party venue for a milestone birthday or event space for a large-scale conference, we are used to dealing with all of the above and more.

Whatever the size of your party, the value of your booking or the location of your event, you will have a dedicated account manager working on your behalf, leaving no stone unturned until we have found you the perfect space.

What are the top tips for finding the best venue?

The key to working with a professional venue finder such as Function Fixers is that we fully understand your brief. What’s the target audience and number of attendees? What location and style of venue are you envisaging? What’s the available budget? Armed with the salient information, we will provide a bespoke service and work tirelessly with you to help source the perfect venue.

Once you’ve drawn up a shortlist of suitable venues, we always recommend that prior to making a booking you make site visits, which we are happy to arrange. Brochures and websites can give misleading impressions and it is crucial that you see the venue in person. That way you can be absolutely sure that your chosen venue is right for the event you are planning.

At what point am I committed to go with your venue suggestion?

At Function Fixers, we are committed to providing the best possible customer service every time. Transparency and integrity are key values that we take very seriously – we don’t ever employ pressure sales tactics. What’s more, as an independent company without any commercial ties to any of the venues we deal with, we pride ourselves in giving impartial advice.

The only thing that matters to us is that we fulfil each client’s requirement to the best of our abilities. Let us know your specific venue requirements including the location, budget, number of attendees, style of venue, catering, technical or other facilities you need and any other details you feel are important.

Our venue proposals will be based on the brief provided by you. But until you tell us otherwise, that’s all they are: suggestions. You are under no obligation whatsoever to book any of the venues we propose, even after a site visit – the choice is entirely yours.

What happens if I want to proceed with a booking?

When you’re ready to make a decision to go with a particular venue, let us know straight away that you’ve found the right venue. We will double check all the arrangements and send you a detailed written confirmation of all your requirements. The venue will then provide a contract for you to sign and return.

Please note that although we will do everything in your power to negotiate hard on your behalf to get you the best possible deal, Function Fixers act as the intermediary; the contract will be concluded between you and the venue.

That said, our service commitment doesn’t end there. Should you need any expert assistance beyond the venue in the run-up to your event, say with choosing caterers, florists or entertainers, sorting out guest lists or technical support, we’re here to go the extra mile for you!
