Standing 180m tall at 30 St Mary Axe is the towering London venue known as Searcys at The Gherkin. With its striking architecture, designed by the world-renowned Lord Foster, it is one of the most prestigious and iconic venues.

Home to London’s highest private members’ club, featuring an exclusive lounge, restaurant and bar with private dining rooms offering the finest menus and the best 360° views over the City. The glass dome at the top of The Gherkin, available for exclusive private hire, is ideal for prestigious events, as an unusual wedding venue or for memorable product launches.

Our event space is ideal for breakfast meetings for up to 140 delegates theatre style, for evening receptions for 260 or seated dinners for up to 140 guests, with a contemporary atmosphere, professional service, fine wines and menus delivered by London’s premier caterers Searcys.

On the 38th floor of this Norman Foster designed building, the meeting rooms are aptly named after clouds:  Alto, Cirrus, Stratus, Cumulus and Nimbus offer stunning vistas, catering excellence and impeccable service.  Designed with flexibility in mind, the rooms provide a space for small, targeted conferences for 10 delegates or larger parties spread across the floor of up to 100 guests. Events, private dinners or conferences at the Gherkin are lavishly catered for with bespoke breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner menus created by Searcys at the Gherkin head chef.

Booked individually the cloud-inspired rooms are ideal for 18 to 70 guests dependent on layout (Boardroom, Banquet, Theatre or Standing), while double rooms or whole floor booking allow for larger gatherings of up to 130 guests. Each rooms offer multiple screens, lapel mics and docking stations, as well as an on-site engineer on hand to ensure presentations go smoothly.
