Leeds Art Gallery
Located in Leeds city centre on The Headrow, the Gallery homes a remarkable collection of British 20th century art which was voted by John Russell-Taylor in The Times as ‘probably the best outside London’. The Gallery also maintains an acclaimed collection of works on paper, a significantly important sculpture collection, and an impressive collection of Victorian paintings, including work by popular Leeds artist Atkinson Grimshaw.
In 2010 the old lecture theatre in the centre of the Gallery underwent a major refurbishment to convert the space into state-of-the-art meeting and conference facilities. The rooms are named in honour of four of the most famous artists from the Leeds region.

Get my Free Venue ShortlistThe old lecture theatre in the centre of Leeds Art Gallery has undergone major refurbishment to convert the space into a brand new conference suite comprising of three ground floor rooms and one upstairs mezzanine room.
The Henry Moore Room will seat a maximum of 120 theatre style and 72 cabaret and will be equipped with a cinema style 16.9 aspect ratio projection screen. A laptop, PA system and microphones are available. The space can be used for a variety of events including conferences, receptions and dinners.
The Hepworth Room on the ground floor will seat a maximum of 16 boardroom and 12 cabaret and is equipped with a tv screen and wi-fi internet access. A laptop is available.
The Wadsworth Room on the ground floor will seat a maximum of 8 boardroom or 8 cabaret and is equipped with a tv screen and wi-fi internet access. A laptop is available.
The Inchbold Room on the mezzanine will seat a maximum of 16 boardroom and 12 cabaret and is equipped with a tv screen and wi-fi internet access. A laptop is available.
There is no disabled access to the Inchbold room.
Air conditioning is available throughout.
Catering will be provided by our award winning partner Boutique and for smaller conferences and meetings guests, space can be reserved in the stunning Tiled Hall for refreshments and lunch.
