Located on the Southbank adjacent to Blackfriars Bridge and Blackfriars Station, Bankside Vaults is close to the Tate Modern and St Paul’s Cathedral.
Having served different purposes in the past, including a wine vault, a Thames Link depot station, and the final undeveloped space on the Virgin railway in London, it has now been transformed into a unique event venue. It boasts an expansive 2000m2 floor space, making it an ideal setting for a variety of events.
Featuring five distinct Arches of different sizes, Bankside Vaults can be utilised individually or in combination to accommodate the specific requirements of any event.
Suited for both corporate and private events, such as product launches, parties, receptions, awards ceremonies, gala dinners, meetings, and performances, the venue’s multiple areas provide versatility and adaptability.
Distinguished by its unique design, the space showcases seven-metre-high vaulted arches, creating a captivating and dramatic atmosphere. The venue is suitable for both standing and seated events, equipped with three bar areas, three video projection walls, and a full stage measuring 9.5m x 6.5m.
With a corporate standing capacity of 2020 people and a seated capacity of 500 people, Bankside Vaults stands ready to host some of the largest events in London. As a newly established venue, it comes equipped with cutting-edge lighting and sound technology, along with high-resolution HD projectors.
