Bodmin Jail Museum
Bodmin, Cornwall (PL31 2NR)
The Bodmin Jail Museum and Attraction is Cornwall’s newest venue and attraction.
Built in 1779 during the reign of King George 3rd, Bodmin Jail has been a landmark in Cornwall’s history ever since. The scene of 55 hangings, the Jail has a fascinating and dark history. The Jail has been re-developed at a cost of over £40 million pounds to include the £8.5 million pound visitor attraction and a four-star boutique hotel within the listed building.
Our visitor attraction venue really offers something different, can be visited individually or in groups and is suitable for both private and educational purposes. The venue can also be hired out for individual events. Venue hire can be for 3 hours in the evening or for the whole night. You can also at an extra cost have the services of our Paranormal Manager.
Venue capacity depends slightly on planned usage but as a ballpark figure around 40 -50 people
