The castle is steeped in history and has a wonderful atmosphere, which is brought to life when people come to celebrate here. Furthermore, if you chose to have your reception here, you will have exclusive use of the Castle and be able to treat it as your own.

While we will do everything possible to ensure your day is a success, we do not offer an event management service – this allows you to plan and run your day, exactly as you would like it.
The Bolton Estate offers stunning locations, both internal and external for film and fashion shoots. As well as Bolton Castle and Bolton Hall with their beautiful gardens and incredible views of Wensleydale, there is heather moorland, ancient woodland, and the River Ure. We can provide shoot catering and can also help with props and transport.

We are very accessible from London – it is just over two hours by train from London Kings Cross to Northallerton. Bolton Castle is just 30 minutes from the train station.
