Digbeth
Digbeth is home to some very unique event spaces which are suited to a wide range of events, including the Custard Factory.
This factory was originally built by Alfie Bird, from the Bird’s Custard company, and is where custard was produced from 1906. It was the first egg-free custard which Alfie developed because his wife was allergic to eggs, way back in 1837!
Digbeth combines the original industrial feel with up to the minute refurbished spaces with all of the amenities you would expect today. It is just a short walk from Birmingham New Street Station. Other spaces include Factory Works which is a 1200 sq m space in the heart of the Custard Factory.

Birmingham New Street Station is close on foot, so rail-friendly conference days work well here. The Gatehouse seats 180 to 200, Waterside seats 60 to 120 and the boardrooms seat 12 for meetings.

Gala dinners suit Factory Works or The Gatehouse, which receives 225 standing, and an awards evening with industrial character gains polish from the refurbished surroundings.
Arches, studios and a conservatory
Arch 21 takes 100 for receptions, Studio 7 seats 40 to 50 and holds 100, and The Conservatory seats 30 to 35 and holds 40. Private parties, lifestyle events, pop-ups and filming each have a suitably sized room, so events across Birmingham can start from 12 guests and run to 1200 at one address.
