With original panelling, sash windows and window seats, it is a stunning setting for a wide range of events. Despite its central location between the West End and the City, the House remains quietly tucked away within the charming and peaceful Gough Square. As the House where Samuel Johnson lived and wrote the first great English Dictionary, it is not only beautiful, but also has an incredibly inspiring and important history.
