Eastway Baths is a bar, cafe and events venue at 80 Eastway in Hackney Wick, five minutes from the Olympic Park and a short walk from Hackney Wick Overground. The building is a converted bath house, and the main Hall has kept the scale of one: a near 18 metre room under a seven metre ceiling, with a circular truss overhead and enough clear floor to take a seated dinner, a conference, a launch or several hundred people standing. It is a room that does not need dressing to feel like an occasion.
Around it sit three more spaces that work on their own or as part of a takeover. The Sunroom is light-filled and calm, suited to workshops, breakouts and smaller gatherings. The cafe runs through the day and doubles as a screening and talks room. The garden is large and sunny with its own outside bar, a marquee and space to spill out of the Hall in summer. The whole building can be taken exclusively for around 400 guests.
Everything is under one roof and one team: full bar, in-house catering, staging, sound, projection and lighting, a green room, and step-free access throughout via platform lifts. Weekday daytimes are the quietest part of our diary and the easiest to book.
