The Craighouse estate, where our functions suite is based, is set high upon one of Edinburgh’s seven hills and is one of the city’s finest sites, with extensive grounds and panoramic views. The Craighouse Collection comprises of four function rooms, the most impressive of which is The Victorian Turmeau Hall, rising to a ceiling height of 45 feet. Featuring oak panelled walls, twin majestic fire places, Venetian windows and a Minstrels Gallery this room is unquestionably impressive. The Edinburgh Suite, which adjoins the main Turmeau Hall can be taken in conjunction with the hall, or separately depending on requirements and numbers. This suite which has three varying sized function rooms, which are suitable for a range of functions, from small intimate dinners, wedding ceremonies and receptions, to informal seating areas to coincide with larger events. Craighouse has been a popular wedding and function venue, with a “one client only” policy, you can rest assured no other parties or events will be using the same facilities.
