The main house of the estate dates back to the 15th Century, when it was erected from iconic Cotswold stone, steeping the manor in layers of history and intriguing tales. The hotel consists of 61 bedrooms, two restaurants, bar, lounge areas, 5 multifunction function rooms, outdoor pool, gym and spa. All set across 90 acres of Cotswold land. Having been restored to its former glory in 2011, the country manor house gained a new lease of life as Gloucestershire’s only five-star hotel. Most recently, the hotel received a mini refurbishment that introduced a contemporary twist to the fascinating property. The grand stone walls of the Great Hall now meet modern glass at the entrance and a new cocktail lounge has been introduced to the centre of the hotel making it the most idyllic area to while away a morning, afternoon or evening.
