Guildhall

The Great Hall

The Great Hall is a medieval wonder; to one side is the exquisite gothic window, above the 89 foot high stone arch roof and the side walls hold the Romanesque Windows, all of which creates a fabulous atmosphere ideal for gala events.

The Crypts

The East and West Crypts are thought to be the finest crypts in England and with Stained Glass Windows within the East Crypt and six clusters of circular Purbeck Marble in the West, these majestic rooms are ideal for private receptions and dinners.

The Old Library

The Old Library is a light, spacious room with high ceilings and stain glass windows; it is perfect for concerts and receptions, and being adjoined by the print room, a great break-out room, it is also perfect for large meetings.

The Livery Hall

The Livery Hall is the most newly refurbished function room at Guildhall and is suitable for receptions and dinners; however with the in-house screen and projector it is also ideal for presentations.
