Cannizaro House has a rich history, dating back to 1819, having played host to Lord Tennyson, Oscar Wilde and even the last Maharajah of the Punjab, its walls have born witness to some of history’s most vibrant characters. Located within 34 acres of Cannizaro Park and adjacent to Wimbledon Common, the hotel offers a tranquil setting yet is well connected, within the M25 and just 25 minutes from central London by frequent public transport. Aside from nearby boutique shopping and extensive parkland the hotel sits close to the All England Club, the home of tennis, which for a fortnight each year hosts the Wimbledon Tennis Championships attracting interest and personalities from around the world.

Cannizaro House has four meeting rooms, each with its own character. Krug is large, versatile and light-filled. Ruinart is equally versatile, with twinkling chandeliers and gilded mirrors. Lallier is a smaller space, with terrace views. And in Opus One, with its wall of glass overlooking the gardens. With extensive acres of land surrounding team building is available on your doorstep and only 25 minutes from central London. Whatever the size or purpose of your meeting, you’ll have an experienced events organiser to look after all the details and help you prepare. Training or networking. Surrounded by nearly 1,200 acres of parkland and Wimbledon Common, Cannizaro House creates a picturesque setting for your special day. No matter if its a small intimate gathering or a larger group we can accommodate you and your guests, from drinks receptions on a private terrace or exclusively in the Orangerie, to a sit down dinner for 90 guests.
Krug is the largest of the private rooms with its own entrance from the car park and a private terraced garden, which is glorious in warm weather and perfect for an outdoor reception. Ruinart room has access to The Orangerie and the South Terrace and overlooks Cannizaro Park, a spacious and flexible room with plenty of natural light. Lallier has views over Cannizaro Park, which provides this delightful room with an abundance of light and a sunny aspect. The Opus One conservatory has the feeling of bringing the outdoors in, a semi private space perfect for an intimate ceremony or small wedding breakfast.

      Function Fixers is my go to team for support with venue finding. All those of us that work in event organisation know how agile and quick footed you have to be to organise them effectively, as people, agenda, budgets, dates change so easily. This did not phase Theresa one bit...we sent email after email back and forth as my venue brief changed regularly, as did finding the right date. Theresa dealt with it with a level of patience I wish I had! And email conversations were always full of detail and fun.
