LAB Bar

Founded in 1996 in the heart of London’s Soho district, LAB was created to be a training school for bartenders keen to develop their skills – the London Academy of Bartenders. LAB has kept this ethos throughout the ages and has trained personnel for many of London’s best known bars; as well as showcasing amazing cocktail artists in our own venue. The culmination of this academic institution came in 1999, when the training school was transformed into LAB Bar.

Over its 10 year history, LAB has created and hosted some of London’s most creative bartenders. This has resulted in LAB compiling one of the biggest and most unique cocktail menus in the UK, a menu which is constantly being developed. These cocktail menus have become collectors’ items for bartenders worldwide, and have been spotted as far as Asia, the Middle East, and Australia.

LAB has continued to challenge the world of drink creation, and, to any true spirit aficionado, the menu reads like a winning lottery ticket: premium spirits complimented with fresh juices, fruits, herbs, and spices.
