Founded in 1841 by Thomas Carlyle, The London Library is now one of the World’s largest independent lending library with over 1 million volumes in more than 50 languages. Conveniently located just off Piccadilly, The London Library is housed in a beautiful 19th century building overlooking St. James’s square.
With a range of spaces for hire, from historic rooms with original features, to contemporary spaces with bespoke, architect-designed furniture, the Library provides a unique venue in the heart of London for events large or small. Event rooms are available to hire from Wednesday to Saturday from 5.30pm onwards.
