WWT London Wetland Centre is an idyllic spot to hold any event, whether you are celebrating a special occasion, getting married or holding a meeting.
The Centre is just 10 minutes from Hammersmith but it could be a world away. The combination of beautiful surroundings and central location makes it easily accessible but also offers a rural experience. Our 42 hectares of scenic lakes, pools and meadows are unique so close to the heart of London and they are complemented by first rate facilities, excellent transport links and ample free parking.
WWT London Wetland Centre is part of the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust so by holding your event with us you will be directly contributing to our global conservation work.
We can offer a meeting room for up to 22 people or the Water’s Edge Room for up to 150 seated delegates. We also have a theatre which seats 80 people, a Gallery and a heated, two-storey Observatory. Or we can tailor-make a package to suit you, including catering.
The Water’s Edge Room
The Water’s Edge room is a light and spacious room, ideal for wedding receptions, anniversaries, conferences and meetings.
It offers beautiful views across the lakes and pools of the London Wetland Centre and the room opens out onto a wooden decked balcony providing an additional area for your guests to relax.
There is seating capacity for up to 150 delegates theatre style and 110 guests for a dinner and reception.
Meeting room
A light and quiet room suitable for workshops, presentations and meetings, with a large boardroom table able to seat 22 people.
TV and video facilities, overhead projectors and flip charts are all included in the cost of hiring this room.
Observatory
This beautiful split level, heated observatory is perfect for drinks receptions. The large 20m x 8m viewing window allows panoramic views across the reserve, where guests can watch a host of wildlife dropping in to rest and feed, while enjoying a drink themselves.
The observatory is also a wonderful location to refresh your mind during a lunch break.
Tower
An intimate, informal room, ideal for up to 25 people. The room features a beautiful wildlife mural depicting birds that can be seen on the reserve, from the Tower’s high vantage point.
This room also benefits from natural daylight (although it does not have black-out blinds for presentations)
Theatre
A state of the art theatre with seating for 80 people. Three large cinema screens are ideal for PowerPoint presentations, corporate videos or films, while a central podium with microphone, live Web access and advanced video equipment offers finger-tip control for the speaker.
