The Mansion Bar & Parlour is located in the quiet Barkston Gardens just off Earl’s Court Road. Built in 1886 as a Victorian Mansion House, the building was converted in to a hotel in 1890 by its architect John Roberts.
In 2012 the Hotel under went a £7 Million refurbishment and opened as the 4 star deluxe Hotel Indigo Kensington. The Mansion Bar & Parlour opened in February 2013, specialising in molecular and carbonised cocktails. Its stylish interior combined with its original offering has won it many an accolade from the public and press alike.
As part of its launch the Bar became the first in the world to bestow Lord and Lady of the Manor titles to all of its employees as part of its employment package. So for a sophisticated dining and drinking experience, allow our Lords and Ladies to take care of you.
The Mansion Bar & Parlour is available for private functions, parties and events.
From drinks receptions, birthday parties, office drinks, engagement / weddings to fashion shows, celebrity photo shoots, funerals and exhibitions.
Whatever your needs we try our best to accommodate from as little as 2 people and up to larger receptions of 200 people.
Molecular and Carbonised Cocktail Masterclass – £50 per person
Guests will have fun in making, mixing, shaking, carbonising and tasting a selection of cocktails. Learn about the history and background of the ingredients and the cocktail itself. And of course, canapés will be served to help balance the effects of the drinks!

Millinery Workshop with Afternoon Tea – £65 per person

Looking for something a bit different, why not learn to make your own headpiece or Ascot-worthy hat under the supervision of expert team of Milliners. No prior experience is necessary as you and your guests are taken through millinery techniques and indulged in a range of fabrics, feathers, beads, lace and much more. You can show off your couture creation for a wedding, the races or simply for pleasure!
Afternoon tea can be enjoyed including selection of delicatessen sandwiches, chocolate treats, English cakes and homemade scones served with fresh jam and clotted cream and a fresh pot of tea.
