Welcome to Monk Fryston Hall Hotel, a stately manor house, dating from the 12th Century deep in the Vale of York.
Monk Fryston Hall Hotel, with its oak panelling, inglenook fireplaces and stone mullioned windows, is set in 30 acres of beautiful gardens and woodland complete with its own lake.
The hotel prides itself on high quality food and service with attention to detail. The public rooms, restaurant and bedrooms are furnished to a high standard in keeping with traditional style of the Elizabethan manor house.
Whether you are requiring overnight accommodation, an evening meal, business lunch, afternoon tea, conference, wedding or celebration facilities, you will find it all at Monk Fryston Hall Hotel. We have 30 acres of tranquil ornate gardens, lakes and mature woodland. You can enjoy a gentle game of croquet in the apple orchard, jog around the lakes and woodland or take a romantic stroll through the garden and smell the roses and listen to the birdsong.
This is a place of beauty with a colourful history and where, once, Benedictine Monks tended the land. Our replica Lucerne Bridge folly is decorated with carvings and excerpts from The Rime of the Ancient Mariner.
Why not take tea or lunch on the elegant terrace overlooking the stone fountain and Italianate gardens.
We hope our grounds will be just one more thing to remember about your stay at Monk Fryston Hall Hotel, whether you go out to explore your surroundings or simply enjoy the beauty of the views from the hotel.
