Board Suite and Meeting Rooms
The versatile layouts of our Meeting Rooms and Board Suite allow the rooms to be set up in a number of ways from boardroom to theatre style depending on your requirements.
Northern Ballet’s Board Suite is located on the top floor of the building and provides a high quality, flexible meeting and entertaining space. The room can be split into two Board Rooms for an intimate event or used as one large Board Suite. It boasts an adjoining terrace providing spectacular panoramic views across Leeds which is an ideal spot to have drinks and mingle with your guests.
Our two ground-floor Meeting Rooms can be used individually or joined to make one large room perfect for small to medium sized events. The rooms have IT facilities and projector screens.
Studios
Our versatile studios, whilst being purpose built for dance, also provide a blank canvas for your larger events from meetings and conferences to private dining, gala dinners, dancing and receptions.
Our building has seven light and airy studios, some of which have adjoining balconies overlooking the city of Leeds. All of the spaces are bright with natural light and high ceilings and can be dressed and decorated to meet your requirements. You can also utilise our mezzanine level which provides a natural break out area for you and your guests.
We can provide IT facilities, including a lectern, projector and screen if needed, and we can offer a number of catering options working with local suppliers to ensure that your guests only receive the best quality food at your event. Whether it is a simple tea and coffee station, hot and cold buffet lunch, champagne reception or elaborate five course dinner, we can work with you to provide a mouth-watering menu.
Stanley & Audrey Burton Theatre
The Stanley & Audrey Burton Theatre is Europe’s largest dance studio and features theatre seating for up to 230 people making it the perfect choice for large conferences, dinners and receptions. You can also benefit from the specialist lighting, sound and projector systems with technical support in our fully equipped working theatre.
Natural light floods into the space through floor-to-ceiling windows which run the length of the room and are decorated by ballet-inspired images created by artist Joe Fairfax. These can be easily covered using blackout blinds if you want privacy or to prevent any lighting effects from being lost.
For special functions this versatile space can be elaborately decorated using draping on the walls and ceiling. You can also draw on the creativity of the team behind Northern Ballet’s award-winning productions to make your event eye-catching and truly spectacular.
