There’s nothing generic about Hideout. Defined by clean lines, herringbone floors, natural wood panelling, and adaptable lighting, it’s a space with character before you even begin to personalise it.
Set discreetly at the back of the venue, Hideout is our most immersive room. Ideal for brand takeovers, fashion week launches, parties, screenings, and workshops, it’s a true shape-shifter. With state-of-the-art AV, 360° projection, a movable DJ booth, green room, private bar, and direct access to the canal-side terrace, every element can be tailored to suit your event, right down to the finest detail.
Number 90 Bar is the heart of the venue. A spacious, lively, and unmistakably Hackney Wick setting that flexes for all kinds of events. From post-conference drinks and team socials to private parties, wedding receptions or full takeovers, the Bar blends personality with practicality.
The Mary Read is our two-level canal boat moored just outside Number 90, and she’s full of surprises. With a warm interior with wood floor and mirrored ceiling, rooftop deck, built-in bar, and panoramic canal views, she’s the perfect setting for events that feel a little more personal, playful, or poetic.
Nestled above the water and wrapped in greenery, the Astrodeck Terrace is our open-air hangout with an effortlessly relaxed personality. Equal parts chilled and cheeky, it’s a go-to for team socials, creative workshops, birthday drinks, and low-key celebrations that don’t need a dancefloor but still want great atmosphere.
Studio 9294 comprises two adjacent industrial style, blank canvas studios/warehouse spaces with a combined standing capacity of over 1000. These are exceptional, light, airy spaces, perfect for any type of function, ranging from corporate away-days and presentations, to weddings, summer (and Christmas) parties, photo shoots and exhibitions. We can provide catering, and have our own projectors and a state of the art PA system. In addition to this, both spaces have access plenty of external space – a large courtyard at the front of the venue (perfect for foodtrucks and BBQS) – and our stunning terrace on the canal at the rear.
By day, it’s a calm retreat with sun-dappled corners and gentle canal breezes; by night, the space comes alive with warm ambient lighting and a lively buzz that never feels overcrowded. Ideal for summer parties and informal gatherings, Astrodeck offers flexible layouts for both intimate groups and larger socials. It feels personal without being precious—easy to dress up for a brand moment or keep understated for a casual get-together, all with a standout vantage point above the water.
Moreover, the terrace is connected to a canal boat. Up to 80 guests can be hosted standing or 30 sitting on this boat, which also contains a bar and sound system. Depending on the weather, we can hold up to 60 people on the roof. The boat can be added to any package for an additional fee and used as a breakout area, VIP space, chill-out room, etc. We also offer catering services for all types of events, with menu options ranging from canapes and bowl meals to a three-course seated meal.
