Old Bengal Warehouse
Old Bengal Warehouse is a historic building originally built in 1771 by the East India Company to house spices, tobacco, port and exotic goods. It is today the oldest surviving warehouse of that era in the City, now transformed into a modern dining and drinking destination, comprising of Fish Market, New Street Grill and Old Bengal Bar.
With a central location, friendly staff and buzzing atmosphere, Fish Market is a fun and relaxed venue for group dining and parties up to 70. Our covered and heated al fresco terrace is available for cocktail and canapé receptions all year round – perfect for pre-dinner drinks!
Set in a historic 18th century warehouse near Liverpool Street originally used by the East India Company, since launching in September 2012 New Street Grill has fast become known for its excellent service. The restaurant showcases a selection of Josper-grilled steaks and other superior cuts of meat and fish alongside seasonal British produce, accompanied by an extensive wine list of over 500 references. With an outside walled terrace for alfresco dining during the warmer months, New Street Grill comprises two rooms, each decorated in rich warm tones with areas of exposed brickwork, which create a stylish and contemporary rough-luxe space.
New Street Wine Shop is dedicated to the simple things in life, executed perfectly. Wine, cheese and charcuterie take centre stage, set within a blend of traditional and modern design: the exposed brick of one of London’s oldest warehouses alongside futuristic enomatic wine dispensers in a charming location. Old Bengal Bar is the destination for drinks in the City and Shoreditch, offering outstanding cocktails, a superb menu and impeccable service in a fun, buzzing and glamourous setting. It all starts with the cocktails for bar manager Radoslav Anuskevic and his team. Signature drinks include Inu Roma and Opium War, alongside classic cocktails served with a twist such as Octopussy 007 and Wings of Cherubs. The Old Bengal Bar also serves an outstanding selection of spirits by the bottle, and an extensive wine list to enjoy either inside or outside on the secluded and sheltered courtyard.
