Oxford House in Bethnal Green is an old Victorian Chapel available for hire for a range of events. Spaces include a multi-purpose theatre, two meeting rooms,  a dance studio and a cafe as well as a fabulous roof terrace.

Full of character with its rich, deep red walls and complementary curtains, the theatre features a springy wooden floor and an adaptable seating arrangement for up to 120.

Oxford House’s theatre is an ideal space for a variety of activities, including rehearsals, comedy shows, theatrical productions, live performances, and film screenings.

The backstage area is well-equipped, offering a well-illuminated dressing room accommodating up to six performers, complete with Hollywood-style mirrors. Additionally, there is an accessible restroom, a comfortable green room, and a convenient backstage bar.

The venue is fully outfitted with essential equipment, including comprehensive sound and lighting systems, a data projector and screen, and an efficient air handling system. A detailed technical specification is available upon request.
