An ideal venue for small lunch or dinner parties as well as pre dinner drinks, Painters’ Hall exhibits a fine collection of Royal portraits dating from the late seventeenth century. The focal point of the Hall is the stained-glass windows portraying the arms of figures that have played a prominent part in the company’s history and liveryman who have been Lord Mayor of the City. The Painted Chamber is decorated with original painted panels made in the 18th century for the previous hall and can be used for small functions and events. On the walls hang a wide historical collection together with Royal Charters granted to the Company by Elizabeth I, James II, George VI and Elizabeth II. The Court Room can also be used for corporate events.
