Pembroke College

Pembroke has a brand new modern auditorium and a wide selection meeting rooms, as well as more traditional options in our historic buildings.  The Pichette Auditorium seats up to 170, and we have meeting rooms suitable for all sizes of groups.  Complemented by 280 ensuite bedrooms, Pembroke College represents a perfect solution for large events in a wonderful, central location.

With large formal dinners held regularly for College Fellows and Alumni, the 19th Century Pembroke Hall is often the venue for prestigious banquets (maximum capacity 170).  Guests can also enjoy the opportunity to experience dining in one of Oxford’s older Colleges.  The atmosphere with silver and candles is truly memorable, as is the locally-sourced food, all lovingly prepared on site and beautifully presented for our guests.

The College has other dining spaces available, including the Forte Room adjacent to the Hall, and The Harold Lee Room – a stunning new addition with beautiful views of Pembroke old and new.

Pembroke’s staff are used to catering for groups of different sizes and requiring different balances of formality and friendliness.  From gala banquets to more intimate affairs, we can cater for your exact needs.

Outside of normal academic term time Pembroke can offer accommodation to large groups of guests.  This means the summer months: July to September, as well as early January and several weeks around Easter time each year.  280 rooms are available: 100 brand new ensuite rooms and others housed in historic buildings dating back to the 18th Century.
