Think of a smart Georgian town house, of high society balls and soirees in the graceful early 18th century, of fashionable ladies in ravishing gowns and their handsome beaux in boots and breeches.
Additional Notes:
At Ranger’s House on the edge of Greenwich Park, gilded gates open into a courtyard in front of the handsome façade of the red brick villa with its high sash windows, white pillars and portico.
The Gallery
Inside, this lovely long room with wooden flooring, bay window and fine antique furnishings and paintings is a wonderful space to entertain. You can serve drinks elsewhere, before returning to the Gallery to dine with your guests if you wish.
Walled Garden, Stone Hall & Rangers Room
A perfect site for a marquee, the Walled Garden is a charming private space which adds another outdoor ‘room’ at Ranger’s House. Two additional rooms inside, the Stone Hall and Rangers Room, may also be used in wet weather.
