We are Remark!

A Deaf-lead organisation that takes pride in the fact that British Sign Language (BSL) is part of our everyday working culture, and is ingrained into our working practice. We have five distinct departments, all working from our central EC1N location in Farringdon: Remark! Living supports Deaf individuals to live independently at home; Remark! Interpreting provides Registered Interpreters into community settings; Remark! Training offers courses of all levels taught by deaf tutors; Remark! Access provides subtitling and voice over for a wide range of content; and finally Remark! Events, where external companies can hire comfortable and convenient meeting rooms, at competitive rates.

We offer four different meeting rooms available to hire for your meeting, interview, training day, or staff event. Not only are we Deaf-led which means an exciting mix of Deaf and Hearing staff, but we are also:

• A great location, close to all central London transport links.

 • Flexible to be set up exactly to your meeting’s theme and requirements.

• Able to offer on-site technical support and guidance from our front of house team.

• Based in an inspiring and characterful building.

All rooms come equipped with fast and reliable Wi-Fi, a large 4K HD TV, various cabling including HDMI cables to connect seamlessly to laptops/tablets, flipcharts and whiteboards, and flexible furniture which can be adapted to each meeting’s requirements and group size. Each room also has access to a shared kitchenette, with unlimited hot drinks as well as bottled water and milk/milk alternatives. On each floor you’ll find a small breakout area for groups to use, whether for a quiet break from a meeting, or a quick phone-call away from the larger group.
