The South of England Event Centre is a unique and versatile space in the heart of Sussex which provides businesses, event organisers and private individuals with indoor and outdoor facilities to run every type and size of event – whether it’s a meeting for 10 or an exhibition for 50,000.

Our dedicated team and flexible approach will ensure your event happens just the way you want it and our in-house caterers will provide your guests with a memorable food experience.

Inject some extra inspiration into your conference by choosing a location in the stimulating setting of our 150 acre countryside location.

The versatile Norfolk Pavilion offers 1,100m2 of light and airy space in five rooms over two floors. The Ardingly Room and Balcombe Room can seat 400 and 350 people respectively in conference style; rooms can be hired individually or in a range of combinations with modern facilities and equipment available to ensure you host a polished, well-organised event.

The self-contained facilities of the Lindfield Suite provide an ideal venue for meetings of groups of up to 30 people, or 20 in a boardroom style. Its first floor location with floor to ceiling windows and views over the main ring will breathe life into your event. We can provide full catering or just tea and coffee according to your budget and requirements, plus WiFi and AV facilities & equipment.

Plenty of fresh air and wide open spaces plus comfortable meeting rooms and excellent catering services make the South of England Event Centre an ideal location for a motivational, fun and inspiring team building event. We can also help you source providers of activities such as go-karting or paint-balling who will manage your event so you can focus on your own agenda.

At the South of England Centre we have all this and more. Whether you are looking for an intimate event or a grand affair, our flexible facilities and attention to every last detail will ensure your day goes like a dream, whatever the season. Perfect for dinners and balls, too.

Choose from a range of catering options including a silver service dinner, informal buffet, afternoon tea – even a barbecue or a hog roast. Our beautiful grassland grounds are big enough for the largest marquee whilst our Norfolk Pavilion offers a range of well-appointed rooms that can seat up to 350 for a banquet or 450 for an evening party.

There is an Equestrian Centre and large covered, open-sided spaces, ideal for livestock and covered events.

Rank Lodge offers basic accommodation on-site for 60 people, saving you the expense and effort of having to find alternative nearby accommodation.
