Sparkford Hall is a beautiful Georgian self-catering luxury country house, with welcome and sumptuous accommodation set in 23 acres of parkland, orchards and gardens.
Whether it is a wedding, dinner party, large family reunion, team building event, or just a weekend in the country, this is indeed the ultimate venue! With 12 bedrooms (plus other accommodation options) and a variety of reception rooms, there is more than enough room for all your friends and family.
The huge American barn is perfect for both large scale events and retreats or group workshops. And we don’t need to tell you how perfect Sparkford is for wedding celebrations, be they Pagan, Buddhist, Christian, Muslim or Hindu, you are very welcome to enjoy our house
We have a beautiful yoga room for group work (teacher supplied if needed), gardens to wander around, chill, relax, read or dance! We can help with marquees for larger events and everything to go with them including staff, DJ and sound system.
Our bicycles are for you to use, or we can rent you a mini bus with driver for the time you are with us…Or maybe a horse and carriage to visit a fantastic award winning pub just 3 miles away.
We had a dream. We wanted to create a space that encourages absolute freedom and creativity. We wanted to have events for fun loving, interesting people who want to experience that something a little bit different.

Sparkford has a plethora of facilities, just aching to be used, be it for a yoga retreat, a small festival or private group events. We are set alone amidst acres of grass and orchards, which means you have huge amounts of space, yet your event will be private and intimate.
The house is also versatile and can be arranged to suit your specific requirements. There is also a huge cellar just waiting to be explored!
Whatever you need, be it a well stocked kitchen, an extraordinary DJ for an event, specialized transport, Indian themed marquees, a marching band…You get the idea. We are on the case.
THE BARN
We are developing this (huge!) space into a hub of creative energy. It can hold more than 300 people and can be fully heated and cleverly divided to make the best use of the area.
Our vision for The Barn includes daily yoga classes, pilates, Tai Chi and other group work, but we are sure there are dozens of other possibilities.

You may have guessed by now that we’re not your typical venue. Sure, we can host a traditional white wedding reception, just like anyone else, but if you’re looking for something daring, different and decadent, well, that’s right up our alley!
Sparkford really is an amazing venue for weddings. We have acres of space and loads of gorgeous settings to make the day, and your photographs, truly unique. Our grounds include rolling green hills and apple orchards, inhabited by our coloured sheep, shaggy Shetland ponies, chickens, badgers and lots of other wildlife. A lazy reception lunch amidst autumn leaves in the grounds, a formal sit down dinner in our ballroom, a pagan handfasting ceremony in the gardens…The only limit is your imagination.
