The Dickens Inn pub in London has a long and intriguing history as one of the sites of East London heritage suspected to be intertwined with Charles Dickens. First the wooden warehouse building thought to be a tea warehouse since late 1700s but was moved and reconstructed in the 18th century to turn into the three-storey balconied inn that now graces St Katharine Docks, moved 70m & reopened in 1970s.
This pub by the Marina has two lovely beer gardens with fresh flowers, dining tables & views of the docks. The insides are equally picturesque, airy décor and a focus on friendly service and English pub traditions. We have large selections of beers, the food menu offers a good range of pub grub, speciality steaks, Sunday roasts, snacks and delicious fresh fish. You can also order a home-made pizza to devour for example on the sunny balcony.
For bespoke private functions, Christmas parties in London, wedding parties, corporate parties and more, the Dickens suite is a remarkably beautiful venue that can cater for up to 150 seated, 175 standing.
We also have the lovely Pickwick Room available for up to 100 seated & 130 standing guests & balcony as a bonus.
Both rooms combined can host up to 300 guests.
