When you experience the four star serenity of The Montague Hotel, it’s hard to believe you’re in central London. This is the quiet haven of peace from which you can enjoy the bustling heart of the city – and still avoid the crowds. We’re a handy hotel, too, for travellers arriving from Europe via Eurostar and St Pancras station. Our nearest attraction is the vast and inspirational British Museum. You can’t miss it because it is just a few yards from the hotel’s main entrance. The surrounding area – known as Bloomsbury – is the traditional haunt of London’s literary set. A short walk to the south, lie the narrow streets of Soho and Covent Garden, and the West End theatres clustered around Shaftesbury Avenue. Covent Garden is a shoppers’ paradise, with intriguing boutiques at every turn. It’s also home to the Royal Opera House and the London Transport Museum.
