You will find The Old Thameside Inn in London Bridge within a short stroll of Clink Street, Borough Market and Winchester Walk – however you won’t find another like it.

Step in to discover a traditional pub of unique character, revered for its eclectic range of real ales and its quality pub food, which are served, as they should be, with a generous measure of famous British hospitality.

History oozes from the great beams and ancient brickwork of the Old Thameside Inn, once an old spice warehouse. Behind our pub are the remains of Winchester Palace, which once belonged to Cardinal Wolsey. The cobbled road behind the pub has associations with the original Clink prison and next to us is a full scale replica of Sir Francis Drake’s famous ship – the Golden Hind.

The Old Thameside Inn is one of many rare gems in the Nicholson’s collection of great British pubs, reputed for their distinctive buildings, intriguing history and vibrant atmosphere.

Join us for live football, rugby and more great Sky Sports action in our cellar bar. A great atmosphere for big matches, with fine cask ales poured throughout.

Additional Notes:

The Cellar Bar is ideal for drinks and buffets of up to 150 people and for dinners of up to 80. There is an outside terrace for summer BBQs for 50-150 people.

The venue is perfect for daytime meetings for up to 24 people boardroom layout or up to 75 theatre style.
