Our event spaces have played host to an eclectic mix of events on numerous occasions, from conferences and tradeshows to dinners large and small; exhibitions, product launches, fashion shows, photo shoots and filming, through to ambient and experiential marketing, the Old Truman Brewery has a blank canvas to suite your needs. From the stunning Grade II listed Boiler House, home to the landmark Truman Chimney, to outdoor spaces such as Ely’s Yard, and to the recently redeveloped and formidable warehouse known as F BLOCK, the Old Truman Brewery provides versatile and multipurpose event spaces benefitting from heavy footfall and supported by a fine infrastructure of independent shops, bars, cafes and restaurants unparallel in London.
A mass of multi-sized spaces forms F Block. The heart of this exciting venue is a sprawling 1st floor of interconnecting spaces waiting to be transformed into unique events. The Basement mirrors the first floor offering similar modern adaptable spaces illuminated from street level windows. It also offers the derelict roof with great views over London and G1 an enormous car park/event space with floor to ceiling glass on the exterior walls.
The Brick Lane Yard is a substantial outdoor space located just off Brick Lane. The vast yard can be utilised in conjunction with the Boiler House and the live music venue 93 Feet East which both have entrances from Brick Lane, it can also potentially be used in conjunction with U Block. Brick Lane Yard benefits from 24 hour accessibility throughout the year via the surrounding streets Brick Lane, Buxton Street and Spital Street. It has hosted a variety of events including publicity stunts, car boot fairs and urban drive-in cinemas. This is also one of the best locations for unit base parking in and around The City of London.
Ely’s Yard is an old service yard that benefits from easy accessibility and heavy footfall. Ely’s Yard is now home to Sunday Upmarket, bars, restaurants, shops and permanent artworks by Banksy & D*Face. The yard has hosted a wide variety of day events and filming from a dramatic Ghost Train to London’s first city Beach. It can also be utilised for art installations, projections, PR that needs general public footfall,outdoor screening and unit basing. This is one of East London’s busiest thoroughfares.
The Boiler House is a stunning, industrial brick warehouse venue. The venue is very bright with extremely high ceilings, large windows, skylights and many original features including the famous 49 m high Truman Chimney. The historic chimney stack comes down into the centre of the 7,750 sq ft room. The space benefits from its original quarry tiled floor and a large rear courtyard area. The venue is ideal for hosting parties, gala dinners, exhibitions and smaller trade shows. The Boiler House is one of the most original venues in London.
The Dray Walk Gallery is a ground floor, dual aspect open plan blank canvas. It is situated in the heart of Dray Walk a promenade of contemporary retailers just off Brick Lane. The venue holds a key position on the pedestrianised lane, benefitting from superb natural light and excellent footfall. It is perfect for smaller exhibitions, retail sales and showrooms.
