The Principal Manchester
Welcome to The Principal Manchester– and to a brand new look and upgraded specifications across all 17 of our meeting and event spaces. These include the new Whitworth Rooms which can be used in conjunction with the Ballroom to create flexible conferencing facilities for more than 1,500 delegates, with a private entrance via Waterhouse Way on Whitworth Street.
As well as some of the best large-scale conference rooms in the UK, The Principal Manchester has a suite of smaller spaces for meetings and private dining, from the prestige of the Refuge Assurance Directors’ rooms to smaller boardroom and classroom spaces in the Clock Tower building.
The multi-million pound investment in The Principal Manchester includes 270 new, loft-style bedrooms and suites; a magnificent, triple-height lobby space; and The Refuge Dining Room and Public Bar, a 10,000 square-foot restaurant in partnership with the team from the award-winning Volta restaurant in West Didsbury.

We secured the Glasgow Marriott, with further budget accommodation at the nearby Ibis Budget Glasgow.
